Ida Dybdal
Working with texture, surface and transparency, I create works that play with the way our minds perceive the things we see and how we relate to the world around us.
I often begin with studying a theoretical standpoint within psychology or philosophy, and I use glass as a medium to further investigate and explore these concepts.
My pieces encourage interactions between people, and they explore how the things we see affect our thoughts and behavior. Emphasized by its lightness and fluidity, the glass becomes a gateway into the curiosities of the human mind.
